Terra Marin Preschool-8th Grade

Does your child love to be in nature, excel in small, supportive environments and thrive when she feels seen, heard and understood for who she is? Then you may want to explore Terra Marin School. Built on the foundation of nature-based learning, challenging and individualized academics, cultural awareness, and world languages, as well as a strong fully integrated social-emotional curriculum, Terra Marin is truly unique. Students graduate ready for the next academic journey with a sense of purpose and confidence in who they are. Creating time and space for children to explore and learn from nature is a cornerstone of our school, so we take our students outdoors off campus 1-2 days a week for Earth Education in some of the most beautiful places in Marin. The school's most important asset, however, and one continually touted by current families, is the quality, dedication, and mentorship of the faculty and staff who put above all else creating an environment that is warm and nurturing where students feel safe, supported and recognized for their unique gifts. Visit our school for a tour or Open House, meet the teachers and students and see if it might be a fit for your child.

Greater Farallones Association

Our programs train citizen scientist volunteers that work with Sanctuary biologists to maintain the health of the Sanctuary, restore significant habitat, and combat the impacts of ocean climate change. Our programs provide 10,000 volunteer hours in the field each year, educate the public about our ocean, and collect critical data and research that help ensure our waters are pristine and the ocean wildlife are thriving.
