Located in the heart of downtown Antioch, is the beautiful El Campanil Theatre. Built in 1928 and restored in 2004, the 640-seat El Campanil Theatre boasts state-of-the-art sound, lighting, video, and streaming capabilities. Along with hosting all manner of live events, it is also home to El Campanil Theatre Academy--a tiered, multi-layered arts education program meant to not only educate students, but give them tools for career placement in the performing arts. Classes ranging from acting to design, from directing to playwriting, and from voice to movement--all taught by industry professionals.
