The Digital Arts and Culinary Academy (DACA), a.k.a. the Rainbow Teen Center is a state of the art Oakland Parks, Recreation, and Youth Development facility designed to give youth, teens, and young adults an opportunity to learn and grow while in a fun and safe environment.
The Digital Arts and Culinary Academy's mission is to help participants grow and build self confidence through the learning of at least one of four components in our program: Digital Audio Production, Digital Video Production, Culinary Arts, or Urban Agriculture. Our goal is to help our youth and young adults excel and create a better life and community for themselves and others. We offer a host of programs including: afterschool classes, summer day camps, summer classes, and even some adult classes.
