NCTC offers classes, camps, and performance opportunities that allow young people and adults to explore drama in a fun, creative and supportive environment. Using ensemble-based games and skill-building exercises, highly-trained teaching artists cultivate the group while also giving each student a chance to shine.
New Conservatory Theatre Center offers classes, camps, and performance opportunities that allow young people and adults to explore drama in a fun, creative and supportive environment. Using ensemble-based games and skill-building exercises, highly-trained teaching artists give each student a chance to shine. Conservatory classes and summer camps are held at NCTC’s three-theatre facility in San Francisco. Satellite workshops are offered in local schools to introduce drama to new students and those from historically marginalized communities. Each year, NCTC presents showcases, student-devised work, new plays for young audiences, and modern adaptations of beloved stories.
NCTC’s Conservatory has been a leader in theatre education in the Bay Area for over 40 years. We offer classes in acting, musical theatre, and performance in our 3-theater facility.
