We have a structured curriculum that includes such essential components as perspective, light and shadow, color theory, anatomy, and drawing and painting from from still-life, life, portraiture and landscape. Our courses are not only designed for future artists. In our classes we also teach future leaders in science, medicine, law, engineering and business.

Baking Arts classes are designed to accommodate the novice chef as well as the avid home cook looking to master new techniques. We offer a relaxed, friendly teaching style that encompasses theory, demonstration and full hands-on participation. Classes are designed so that each student completes their own recipes and projects from start to finish to ensure a true learning experience. In addition to our calendar classes, Baking Arts is available for private parties and classes from 1 to 10 people. We also offer gift certificates that make a terrific gift for that special someone.

Riding Lessons- Youth and Adult

The CCA Atelier program offers weekend workshops during fall and spring semesters. These art and design focused studios include a range of creative disciplines that allow students to learn new techniques directly from our college instructors.

ITK Offers Wednesday after school cooking classes where kids can explore the kitchen and learn to cook healthy and delicious dishes. Moss Beach Ranch offers a comprehensive lesson program for adults and children with nearly all riding levels and abilities. English and Western riding styles are both taught by professional, certified instructors who are experienced in a wide variety of riding specialties including dressage, stadium and cross country jumping, barrel racing, western pleasure, and trail riding.

NCTC’s Conservatory has been a leader in theatre education in the Bay Area for over 40 years. We offer classes in acting, musical theatre, and performance in our 3-theater facility.

Education in traditional crafts

Our San Francisco sailing school offers an introduction to sailing. These sailing lessons in the Bay Area are designed to give you hands-on experience and opportunities to learn how to sail with a minimal amount of time and money. Class size A vessels are limited to a maximum of four people. This allows everyone the chance to steer the boat and man the sails. Please note, these are private sailing lessons. You can have the lesson just for yourself or you can bring up to three more people.

Classes follow NGA skills and students are regularly checked for skill acquisition. Once a child has gained all skills in the beginning class, they are cleared to move to the next (Intermediate).
