As subdivision of the Community Services Department, the Recreation Division prides itself through a wide range of educational, creative and fun programs offered for our community. El Campanil Theatre Academy is a tiered, multi-layered program meant to not only educate students in the performing arts, but give them tools for career placement in the performing arts.

We offer live and interactive online classes of chess, piano, Rubik's Cube, guitar, mathematics, abacus, public speaking, creative writing, yoga, Python programming, Scratch coding, physics, chemistry, and language classes (Spanish, German, French)

We offer ceramics, wood working, mixed media, sewing, drawing, painting and much more for children and adults.

Daily and weekly online classes thoughtfully designed to inspire innovation, boost creative confidence and encourage independence—all with curriculum built around easy-to-find household materials.

KidzToPros online and on-campus after-school programs in STEM, Sports & Arts provide your child with opportunities to exercise their body, explore their imagination, learn new skills, and socially interact in a safe, fun, and stress-free environment.

Everyone in the Tri-Valley should have the opportunity to experience the arts at whatever age and whatever level they are. Livermore Arts offers educational activities and classes, performances at schools and at the Bankhead Theater, and free events for the whole family. For students, there are also workshops and master classes with visiting artists. Portions of these activities are underwritten through generous contributions and matching gifts to our education fund.

After school and weekend sessions are available for 6-14 year old individuals who want more marine science education.

We have PE, Yoga, and Art.

Experience Art, PVA’s educational program, provides students and teachers the opportunity to make, exhibit and tour fine art exhibits free of charge, to learn about and better understand art, art making, and the expressive qualities of art made by outstanding regional artists. PVA hosts field trips for all grade levels, year-round, requiring additional staff, and outreach efforts. We inform schools about content, and learning opportunities; create and distribute teacher resource guides; and schedule tours, often outside of gallery hours. We offer bilingual services if requested. Gallery tours provide opportunities for students, teachers, and parents to broaden their understanding of art, medium, and techniques.

Our after school program offers children infinite opportunity to engage with nature, connect with our food systems, befriend animals typically viewed as “food”, learn, grow, express their creativity, get dirty and enjoy the experience of being a kid!

Studio One's youth activities are designed to expose the youth a variety of activities. Our Master Artist lead visual, digital and performing arts classes that encourage youth to take chances and express themselves while making new friends in a fun community setting.

Impact Arts, the 501c3 nonprofit that runs Texas Arts Project, offers a multitude of private lessons, prescreen packages, and even in-school workshops. From vocal lessons to interview coaching, we offer incredible training by industry professionals.

The Art in Science mission is to instill a love of science in kids (ages 4-12) through an innovative curriculum that enriches kids in various scientific disciplines, using hands-on experiments.

We offer virtual educational enrichment classes via ZOOM for children in 1st-6th grades, Monday through Friday, five days a week from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM PST.

We are excited to offer classes in art, animation, and more to students of all ages.
