We are small by design, which allows us to focus on what matters most: your child. Our school has a proven curriculum which covers early childhood development to pre-kindergarten (often called pre-K). We are structured but not rigid. Our program is rigorous and flexible, allowing us to deliver a strong curriculum to all children, but customized to fit the needs of every child.

Day camps include learn to bike, learn to paddle, multi-sport adventure, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, survival skills and more! Traditional resident camps and small group, overnight expeditions also available.

BHA's Saturday Booster Club helps 3rd - 8th grade students - from any school - strengthen their English language and math skills with credentialed and experienced teachers.

Preschool life at Buen Dia is based on a child-centered philosophy. We believe that children learn best when they develop relationships with the whole community as well as their environment. As children learn and grow, play becomes a way for them to focus on what they naturally need to develop next and will inherently choose what their brains and bodies need for motor, social-emotional, and imaginative development. Buen Dia’s daily routine provides a framework that allows children to choose their own activities and to participate in group activities such as snack time and circle presentations. Daily offerings include: art, recycle construction, books, table games, dress-up, block building, cooking, science, music and outdoor play.

Riding Lessons- Youth and Adult

Game analysis, opening strategy, tactics-training, and puzzle solving skills are just some of the fun things we cover in chess class. All ages 5 and up, and complete beginners welcome too. We also review how the pieces move and piece development .

Discovery Youth: An after-school program for youth in grades 6 - 12. Students learn the latest media skills, the importance of volunteerism, and interactive learning while making friends, making a difference, and having fun.

The Recreation and Community Services Department provides programs, including Arts, Classes and Camps, Special Events, Arts, Sports and Aquatics, and the Virtual Community Center. We also provide Community Services for the entire community, and special programs for Seniors, Youth and Teens.

Taught by current and former detectives, this one week class is packed with hands-on activities to learn what it takes to become a crime scene investigator, formatted 90 minutes per day.
