Berthed in beautiful downtown Sausalito, the Schooner Freda B is the finest sailboat for hire on the San Francisco Bay. She is a stable, 80-foot sailboat that is certified by the Coast Guard to accommodate up to forty-nine passengers. Our guests enjoy all the upright comforts and hospitality of a motor yacht while sailing on a traditional, gaff-rigged schooner. We offer passenger boarding at our home port in downtown Sausalito, in addition to San Francisco, Richmond and Angel Island.The Freda B is known for her Bristol maintenance, professional crew and a myriad of public and private sails. Our charter options include corporate team building, nautical nuptials, pirate parties, SF Giants McCovey Cove parties, private wine club events, anniversaries, life celebrations, memorial services, and our renowned Angel Island Barbecues and Lobster Feeds. We offer gourmet catering options for all private charters which always pair well with our select menu of Napa and Sonoma wines. Local wines, beers, hot drinks, premium sodas, and snacks are also available on all of our public sails. In addition to private charters, the Freda B regularly runs public sails, so that individuals and smaller groups are able to experience the breathtaking views from our deck. You’ll take in the San Francisco Bay’s famous sights from the most spectacular perspective. Sail under the Golden Gate Bridge and Bay Bridge, or past Angel Island, Alcatraz and the iconic San Francisco Skyline.
