Since 1980, Steve & Kate’s Camp has put kids in charge–allowing campers to choose from a variety of activities in real-time, including sewing, stop-motion animation, coding & gaming, sports & recreation, maker crafts, water play, baking, and more. As children are empowered to make their own choices at camp, they discover new reserves of confidence, resiliency, and creativity–learning to course correct and trust themselves as they go. Families can buy any number of days, to use at any time–no weekly reservations required. Or, buy a Summer Pass, which covers the whole season. Our summer sessions teach kids sailing, woodworking, and the joy of exploration out of a historic, seaside boatyard in Sausalito. A week-long day-camp, kids get to explore the Bay and build their own projects Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm. Open to 10-16 year olds, we are running 4 sessions on the following dates: June 23 - 27, July 7 - 11, July 14 - 18, and July 21 - 25.

Battle of the Bots introduces campers to programming, sensors, gears, and mechanics in a fun, competitive way! They’ll team up to build robots and compete in challenges like sumo wrestling, tug-of-war, and head-to-head combat. By the end of the week, they’ll test their skills to see who can build the best battle bot—this camp is a prerequisite for the VEX IQ Robotics Competition Camp. ![]() |
