ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Joel Roster is a multiple award-winning actor, director, teaching artist, and playwright who has worked on over 100 plays over the course of his career. A member of Actors Equity Association (the professional union for actors and stage managers in the United States), Joel has also appeared in commercials for Google, GameSpot, Honda, American Beauty Pasta, and many others. As a stage actor, he has appeared with SHN, Shotgun Players, Center REPertory Company, Ray Of Light Theatre, Town Hall Theatre, Contra Costa Musical Theatre, and Contra Costa Civic Theatre, to name only a few. He has been a Teaching Artist since 2002, and currently serves as the Executive Director for El Campanil Theatre.
El Campanil Theatre Academy (ECTA) is a training program that offers specialty theatre classes as well as fully-produced productions for local students aged 8-18. In order to bring the highest quality theatrical productions to Antioch, we will have a participation fee for all students moving forward. PLEASE NOTE: All students must show proof of full vaccination (two weeks after dose of Johnson & Johnson or after second dose of Pfizer or Moderna) by date of first class (1/18/22).
