Flower Piano Fashion Show - Gardens of Golden Gate Park
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 09/21/2024
Sunset Piano, the Students and Faculty of City College of San Francisco Fashion Department, and the Gardens of Golden Gate Park invite you to witness and be a part of the first-ever Flower Piano Fashion Show! On September 21 at 2:30, we will gather at the Great Meadow pianos in the SF Botanical Garden to inaugurate this colorful event.
A 20 foot long catwalk and parade stage will showcase outrageous apparel by the bay area’s most unique haberdashers, DASOWL. Led by Professor Natalie Smith, the Students and Faculty of City College of San Francisco will also be adding their flair to the event with their outfits and models. Danny Sullivan, music director for the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, will provide pianistic flurries of virtuosity, while your hosts, Baron Scott Levkoff and the ineffable Ifn Whendy, bring the color commentary that this event so richly deserves.
But the real star of the show could be YOU, Flower Piano aficionado! Wear your finest Flower Piano outfit and take a provocative stroll down the catwalk… you may win a fabulous prize! We invite everyone to wear their most colorful, floralistic, and music-inspired garb to this one of a kind event.
