Help us with maintain and improve the habitat and trails at the Environmental Education Center at the Don Edwards SF Bay NWR! Activities may include removing invasive plants, picking up litter, or maintaining trails! All gloves and tools will be provided, so just make sure to dress comfortably and bring a can-do attitude.
Please register and plan to arrive by 9:30am so we have enough time to check you in before we get started!
Please note, volunteers under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Other Considerations:
- We encourage everyone to wear comfortable clothing, long pants, warm layers, and sturdy closed-toe shoes - all that you don't mind getting a little dirty!
- Restrooms will be available on-site in the form of an ADA-compliant portable toilet and hand-washing station.
- We highly recommend that you bring a filled reusable water bottle to stay hydrated while reducing plastic pollution!
- If you need any accommodations or would like to know more about volunteer hours, please reach out to watershedwatchers@sfbayws.org.
This program is brought to you by the San Francisco Bay Wildlife Society (SFBWS) and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service with support from the Santa Clara Valley Urban Runoff Pollution Prevention Program (SCVURPPP).
