Pleasant Hill 4th of July Celebration

The 4th of July Commission began 45 years ago in 1976 to celebrate our county’s 200th bicentennial. The mission of this commission was always to provide a safe, family-friendly event for the Pleasant Hill community to celebrate the 4th of July.
It has grown into the city’s largest single-day event and attracts thousand of residents from Pleasant Hill and other surrounding communities.

FIRECRACKER
5K RUN
7:45am
Enter our Firecracker 5K Race or kids 100 yard dash! Prizes for the top finishers. Proceeds go to Pleasant Hill schools!
DOWNTOWN PARADE
9:30am – 10:30am
Come to Downtown Pleasant Hill and see the World Famous Pleasant Hill Parade!
PARTY IN THE
PARK
10:30am – 1:30pm
After the parade ends, walk over to Pleasant Hill Park for live music, food, and fun for the kids!
DECORATING CONTEST
July 2nd – 4th
Go wild with the Red, White, & Blue! Top 5 houses win a gifts cards to their favorite Pleasant Hill restaurant.
FIREWORKS AT CPHS
8:45pm
VIEWING PARTY AT COLLEGE PARK this year. $4 or MORE (per person) is the suggested donation. Fields open at 6:30pm.
