Brunch for the Wild Bunch - Oakland Zoo

This event, formerly known as Feast for the Beasts, allows you the rare opportunity to place food around habitats before the animals go out for the day. Spread produce for the elephants, hide seeds for the baboons, spread snacks for the sun bears, or toss treats around the grizzly yard. Do you love giraffe and want to help support them in the wild? We are also offering the opportunity to feed a giraffe! Tickets to participate in the animal spreads are $15 per experience with proceeds going to support Oakland Zoo’s outstanding Animal Care work. Giraffe feedings are $20 with all proceeds going to our conservation partner the Reticulated Giraffe Project in Kenya.

Brunch for the Wild Brunch Rules:
- No one under the age of 2 is allowed on habitat due to safety concerns of uneven terrain. Guests must be 6 and older to participate in the Grizzly Grub spread.
- Guests 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult to attend.
- All guests, including supervising adults of children, must have event tickets to enter the animal habitat.
- No strollers are allowed and the animal habitats are not wheelchair accessible.
- Please note that the habitats contain uneven terrain and moderate inclines in places.
- Guests are allowed to purchase up to 6 tickets total.
- Guests may only participate in one experience since all food experiences take place simultaneously.
- For the safety of our animals, all participants must wear a mask as guests will be handling food.
- Please note that we cannot accommodate late arrivals.
- Food for spreads will be provided - we will not be accepting produce donations.
- In the event of rain or mud, keepers will place food in animal habitats or spreads may be canceled - no rain checks given; refunds will be issued.
